Cooking Calamari In Oil Question... - aok47 - 05-10-2004 Whenever i fry calamari rings in a pan with hot oil i get splattered by oil. If properly dried with a rag (and the heads are harder to get dry) isn't to bad to fry... as long the oil is not to hoot of course! The oil should be hot but not boiling The deeper the oil the less splatter Use a anti splatter screen over the top of the frypan, you can by this anywhere they sell pots and stuff Cheers |
