New in WA - NewSquidder - 16-06-2014 Hi all,   I'm very keen to get into squid fishing but don't really know anyone who does it. I'm in Perth and have done some research and have a few spots in mind that I'd like to try out BUT I need to get some gear first! I have absolutely nothing (not originally from Perth). My budget for gear would be $200 max. Can anyone recommend me a rod/reel/line combo for around that price, or better yet is anyone selling some gear they no longer use? Any help/advice on beginners gear would be appreciated. I'll need a 2 piece rod cos I only have a little car! New in WA - SquidJigsAustralia - 20-08-2014 Mate, sorry to see that nobody's responded yet.  If you're on Facebook, jump onto "Western Squid Wranglers" and "WA Squid Anglers".. all the guys there are really helpful and will give solid advice.  Also feel free to check out our website (http://www.squidjigs.com.au) and in particular the education section to get an idea of how jigs attract the squid.  Its a wondrefully addictive hobby, get into it!
