[post="3948"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
It's not about temperature Joey, but more about time, as in biological clock of the squid. Squid flood the shallows when it's time to spawn, so that their young when hatched have plenty to eat in the shallows. Spring time as early as late April to early May are prime time to catch these spawning squid. The numbers of squids decrease in the summer months. By fall, the hatchlings should grow to decent size and start to make way to the depths. The cycle then repeats for the following spring. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/us.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> |
