Squid Live Bait For Kingfish - Badger - 02-03-2005
I am trying to catch some squid to live bait for Kingfish. I usually fish in Sydney Harbour and at either the spit bridge or Clifton gardens. I actually need to know how to rig them live for kings. place the hook through the top of the broad end of the cape so that the eye of the hook rests on the back of the head.

The only thing I had heard was lightly hook them through the top of the head but your way sounds about right. It would be in a stronger part of the flesh too and not pull free. I will give it a crack!
