Float Fishing Squid Jigs - macmaghnusa - 19-08-2005 Hi everybody. I read somewhere that jigs can be float fished with good results. where I live in spain, NOBODY (that I've seen) employs this method. they prefer the cast & retrieve job & almost always with just the one jig & glow light. would someone please describe a typical float rig so I can give it a go & blow the locals' minds! best, Mac Float Fishing Squid Jigs - glen - 19-08-2005 hey mac, you can definitely use a float to catch squid. The best option is to use a baited jig.
