The Giant Squid Dosidicus gigas is being sold fresh frozen or cooked frozen mainly to Asia in huge quantities.

Treated with food additives are sold to the USA and Europe as rings, steaks, strips and sliced boiled tentacles.

After treatment it tastes like cuttlefish.

In Peru for our frozen industry contributes generating big volumes to freeze.

So instead of looking how they feed let’s eat the gigas squid.
