Wind tending northerly tonight and gradually strengthening to 20 to 25 knots. Waves of about half a metre rising one to one and a half metres overnight. Tuesday Northerly wind of 20 to 30 knots, possibly reaching 35 knots at times, ahead of a west to northwesterly change of 20 to 25 knots in the evening. Waves of 1 to 2 metres. Wednesday Northwesterly wind of 20 to 30 knots tending more westerly during the morning and easing to 15 to 20 knots. Northwesterly wind restrengthening to 20 to 30 knots overnight. Waves 1 to 2 metres. Thursday Westerly wind of 20 to 30 knots moderating to 10 to 15 knots by early afternoon. Wind tending northerly later and restrengthening to 20 to 30 knots overnight. Waves 1 to 2 metres temporarily abating to half a metre around the middle of day. Maybe next weekend if the wind dies?? Floundering Trip? - glen - 18-09-2006 yeah i might be keen....lets see how the wind pans out <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' /> i actually went out last night for about 1 hour but i didn't see much. i saw maybe 2 banjos, couple of crabs, a few mullet, no garfish, no flathead, no flounder <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ink' /> i caught nothing. it looked like it was going to rain so i packed up and headed home. this was on the eastern side of the bay in the usual spot i go near the end of springvale rd. cheers, glen Floundering Trip? - Jazman - 19-09-2006 Well done for getting out Glen. I contemplated going out as well (it looked pretty flat), but ended up doing my washing instead <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' /> There were a few spots of rain later on (11.30pm or so). The wind can't blow forever, fingers crossed for a reasonably calm Saturday <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ink' /> Floundering Trip? - glen - 19-09-2006 it was actually real calm for a short while last night but then the wind picked up again! and today it is very windy of course <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thumbsup2:' /> |
