Newby from Oak Harbor, WA - Salmon King - 24-10-2015 Hi everyone!   Name is Terry and as I said above I hail from Oak Harbor, WA.   Although I have lived here for over 30 years nd fished for everything else that swims in the waters of Puget Sound I have never tried for Squid before...which is wierd because I love eating them.   Anyway....I have a lot to learn and hopefully there's someone on here from my neck-of-the-woods that might be willing to take me under their wing.   Is there even anyplace near me to go?  Or will I be forced to put a boat in the water?   To help me get started I have dedicate a trout sized rod and reel set up, bought 1 squid jig (2-oned glow green), and I have a submersible fishing light on order a WalMart.   Hope to meet some of you! I am wondering if you have had any luck tracking down a spot to fish on or around Whidbey Island?
