Night Or Day ? - d700doug - 03-12-2009 Do you have any preference for fishing night or day for squid ? I have always had more success at night ? But I have not had that much success <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Night Or Day ? - carl65 - 04-12-2009 If you have a dinghy try drifting the weed beds in 3-8 metres of water during the day.If you strike a school of squid you can then anchor, placing your jigs about a metre from the bottom while working a jig around the boat with a flick rod. Landbased eg jetties seem to work better towards evening and into the dark. Some guys in this forum are very experienced jetty squiders and may be able to help you with setups that suit your area as what works in one area may not work in another. Happy squidding <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blueboxbullet.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> |
