g'day guys, well im buying myself 3 new jigs this week to add to my vast collection of 1 <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' /> .... so far i got a pink shrimp hunter in 3.5 am now gonna invest in another 3 yo-zuris but this time will go for size 2.5, can anyone make any recomendations on some that they have had great success with ie should i just go 3 more shrimp hunters in 2.5 and go colours orange, green and brown or different type like the arie q???? or do i go some yamashitas, these will be defiently the last jigs i buy for quiet a while, only doing it as i have a bit of spare cash which will soon be gone when uni starts thanks in advance on your imput

The Shrimp hunter isnt the best if you want to try a darting technique. Plus all the different models have varying sink rates so you can choose the right jig for the conditions.

mate thanks very much for that picture highly appreciate it, think i will go something different which do u find better the aurie q's or the flash dancers?

I like the Flash Dancers, they dart really well. I havent used the Aurie Q so I cant comment on them. It might be worthwile buying something fast sinking like the Aora or the Yamashita Egi Oh Q Soku for days when there is a strong current running.

Imo, variety is key. Different shapes, sizes/weights & colors.
Even the "no-name" brands can be deadly, although they might not be made of the greatest materials.

cheers to everyone offering there advice, i took on a bit and with the help of a fellow member im gonna be grabing myself 3 yo-zuri aurie-q's in 1.8 green, and 2x 2.5's in orange and brown, so give me a bit of a selection, and that shall do me for ages for squid jigs <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
