My New Toys.. - 1tym - 28-03-2010 PM for location My New Toys.. - Dr Zoidberg - 28-03-2010 Nice !!! My name is Zoidberg and I am squid jig addict. It's been 3 days since I purchased my last squid jig !!! Um where exactly did you buy those jigs ? My New Toys.. - 1tym - 29-03-2010 I got them local here in the US.. Boston, MA. Supposely from a dealer rep. they are JDM.. japanese domestic models.. There is only a limited suppy here at my local shop.. I heard a few other shops in the surrounding states carry them but only one has them here in boston? Can't wait to try em.. one of the little ones is actually flat sided like a diamond jig.. it sits vertical in the water with a 1.5 inch a second sink rate.. going straight up and down.. Can't wait to see how they act with casting and retrieving. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> My New Toys.. - Tatonka - 31-03-2010 Would like to know in the future if they work out for you. I found it last year, and it has been my favorite place to go for squid jigs ever since. You think they might still have some of those small ones available? I'm hoping to make a trip down there in the next couple days. My New Toys.. - 1tym - 11-05-2010 was just there unloading some squid... they got quite a few.. i was slaying them with one of the little ones.. trick is to tie it directly with a small loop.. rather than swivel it or tie it or loop it... you want to let it swim freely.. i got myself half a cooler tonight with them My New Toys.. - the squidman - 12-05-2010
was just there unloading some squid... they got quite a few.. i was slaying them with one of the little ones.. trick is to tie it directly with a small loop.. rather than swivel it or tie it or loop it... you want to let it swim freely.. i got myself half a cooler tonight with them
Nice man. Thanks for the tip. I'm gonna try to go pick some of those up before I make a trip down to RI later this week. Were you hitting them down at GI or in Jamestown? Maybe we'll see you down there this week/weekend. They have a decent selection though, and the people there are helpful and nice.
