Maybe I can call them ahead of time if I can get their name or something. What type of jigs work best in your area?[/quote] Based on my experience, Yozuri (Pink and blue color) worked greatly for the last spring season. most of the time, I used size 3 of this product. seems like Yozuri product more expensive than other product. however, I think that is worth it! I used the green one (got this as an extra, thanks Jon) caught around 6 squids. Blue fish bites, the line brokes and lost my favorite jig ..... argggg... Luckily, I saw Dave, (he used to worked at Edwards Fishing Tackle) he gave me a green Micro-Prawn Squid Jig, got three squids in less than 5 mins. The time is 10:45PM ... need to head home ... Attach is image of 9 squids ... p.s: I found that on the Fall @Newport, the smaller the jig the better .. size 1.0 is the best.... Newport, Ri - 2006 Squid Season - squidjigdotcom - 03-10-2006 Hi sfoxnh, Glad to hear that the jigs are working out well for you. I'll have to admit, the Micro-Prawn Squid Jigs have been a BIG hit this year. We had a lot of guys using them with great success, even when fishing was slow for others on the dock. They would just use a single jig only, and just give some little twitches of the line as it slowly sank (consistant catches).
