Two of my buddies and i fished near GI from around 9p till about 2a or so on sat night. One nice tube caught and a doz or so schoolies. Plenty of bait all around. Just no squid after them. Watched a few schools of squid swim by, they weren't interested in our jigs or the bait for that matter. Very strange if you ask me.

Been to JT last Friday night. I was able to caught 19of them. Well I gave half of them to my buddy that night
( Anyway. They are really picky but I saw bunch of squid swimming by. Also there was plenty of bait fish too.
They behave kinda strange too.
Once in a while they showing up on surface but most of time they stayed on the bottom.

I was guessing it just matter of time to heat it up but so far I was wrong and everyone was wrong.
I will be there tonight, because I just finished to make squid dry rack and I really need to fill them up

Well mine is little different, it's compact yet, I put insect screen all around that rack
So at least, I don't have to worry about fly or animal interrupting my harvest XD

thats what i think too. usually it gets quiet when they arrive. i saw some ink stains near the gi but in the shallowbnear the park benches. not alot but a good sign.

I heard squid charter boat don't doing any good too. I know squids are there and they are a lot but that damn thing is don't want to bite.
Also like I mentioned other post, they are really picky and rarely showing up on surface.
