Went squiding saturday arvo. Headed out to get some sea urchins but the water was VERY discoloured, i couldn't even see the bottom in 1.5m of water it was that bad <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ink' />
I wasnt too hopefully of any squid but somehow managed 2 at Point Cook, both on orange jigs.

the smaller calamari are stuffed with rice/tomato/herbs and cooked in a nice tomato sauce.... dip a crusty bread in the sauce

Although, having said that, i reckon ive read that squid only live for 12 months, so it will probably die before being caught again.........
All of my squid heads are frozen for bait.........
Unless of course they are too big to use as bait, ha ha!!
