I have heard that was doing well recently. Jon Puget Sound, Wa (2007 Season) - HalfBBaked - 07-11-2007 Well I have been hitting Stellacoom just about every nite for 2 weeks now my first few nites out everyone but me was snaggin em (I blame my $1.99 jig have upgraded since) since then its been a couple a nite if your lucky but the last 4 nites I havent caught any thing but a few bullheads and a case of the sniffles but I am a diehard and I am heading out the door now Ill let ya all know if things pick up down here hopefully they will. However, in the past several days some jiggers have reported limits (15 pounds each) of medium-sized squid at the Terminal 86 fishing pier and the docks near the aquarium on Elliott Bay. At the marina where I keep my boat moored thier is a bright light at the end of my slip. There is no breakwater blocking the free flow of current and my slip is about 80 yards off shore. So I was wondering if I could just drop a jig right there and avoid the combat squid fishing found at the Port Orchard area Piers. The more lights the better, as far as it attracting squid though. If you could hang an 500W halogen light off the side of your boat, you would be set.
