hit GI bridge saturday night with some friends. NADA! Saw 1 guy catch a lone squid, others had a few herring. No ink on the bridge either. Also no bait in the water. Very odd.

I just got delivered whole bunch of yamashita and yo-zuri jigs from the Japan.
It's their newest product and I was eye on them for a while and I will try them tonight.
I will let you know which one works better

I know there are lots of people squiding from Fort Cove. Plenty of parking, easy access. I have been there only once though, as I am new to squid fishing. I am very excited to go for JT or GI very soon!

i work by the GI and saw tons of what looked like spent inkon the surface of the water. it was mostly gone in a couple hours. i think they came in heavy early this morning. ill be there asap
