I went back to old school jigging, as It became too crowded for anyone to let me get a cast in, but tonight, I am going to throw it if it means catching some peoples lures. I told the folks the other night that If I hit it, the thing will be a piniata for anyone that helps pick em up for themselves. I just know when they are schooliong up, that it would be a jack-pot hit to throw it properly over the pod of em. It was great meating you both and hope to see you in Ischia someday.

I was on the 7bs last night, only 7 people, lady frances probably had 40 or so?? Fishing was good for first 3 hours, I wound up with 72 actual count, mixed sizes, then bluefish became a problem ,eating the squid jigs and chasing the squid in the lights, that ended the action quickly....7bs is a good operation too

The forum has gone quiet, everyone is too busy catching, cleaning and eating squid. I can't tell you about Rhode Island, but they were strong at the cape last week-end.

I was at Fort Wetherill Firday night. Nothing but cold wind and choppy surf. The storm for the weekend was coming in. Didn't expect much, but just felt like getting out there. Didn't see anyone catching anything.
Glad to see at least the Cape is doing good. At least someone is doing good.

I know a lot of you take a long trip to fish Newport, GI and the surrounding area..just wanted to put out there that Beverly Ma. is smoking hot right now..everybody is catching..I've taken near 1000 from the docks in the past week alone!
