Hello all I'm from Melbourne <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/as.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ,



I'm very new to all this squid fishing and fishing in general my friend just got me into fishing a few weeks ago and told me about this forum as well. I must say I'm really enjoying the forum, however I still haven't caught my first squid yet but hopefully I will soon after reading a few tips from the forum/website.

It wont be long until you get your first of many squid, just need to get to the right spot at the right time.

where are you based? where are you looking to fish?

melbourne is great for squidding. we dont have to go too far. they are catching squid land based from altona through to portsea so rug up and get out there and you may get the bug liek the rest of us.
