hey tristo! they don't make very good pets as they like to swim and are not keen hovering in one spot. probably cuttlefish would make a better pet <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' />

i am very keen on trying to keep a squid as a pet, as i dont live to far away from my local spot i plan on going and catching a small squid, keeping it alive in air-rated cold water then into tank.
they have been kept as pets but dont last long as glen said they like to move around alot
