Are the squid running at pier 69? What time is a goood time to venture out at nite?
  • Anybody willing to show me the ropes? It's been a while..

Thank you for serving uglysalior and hopefully you can try 69 soon it does okay for me! Mekim I did okay doing at the aquarium last night I got about 5 in about half an hour or so.
Wldspice the squid are around 69 and its been kinda slow but there are good nights. I went yesterday for about 2 hrs. And got a few jumbos at about 345 pm and small ones around 5 and it wa high tide.
wow! that's great. thanks!

69 and the vinicity has been slow since just before christmas. With the weather turning into inches of rain and wind in the seattle metro area it has sturred up the slit and mud coming out of green river, it makes it hard for the squid to see. So VERY SLOW! Caught squid small and very few jumbos left. And with the season winding down we expect to see at least a few days left. Caught and sizeable handful. Des Moines has been a waiting game too!
Went to Edmonds last night too and same story -- very slow. I caught one just around high tide. I shouldn't be complaining, though. Most didn't catch anything. There were two other regulars there who caught a half dozen or so.
Mat and Steve looks like it might be good squiding sat new year - eve ---- give me a call 425-290-5995 got new jigs i want to try.
