Hi Squidder,
I just want to introduce myself. My name is Carl and I am a frequent on another fishing forum and I have been lurking in the squid section of it a bit much lately so I though I would get myself settled into a forum just for Squid fishing.
I am not new to Squidding but I have not been able to do much over the past 6-8 months and I am just finally getting back into the groove. I have just ordered my first true squid rod from Japan and I am determined to have a decent crack as often as possible.
Living in the northern suburbs of Melbourne I am hardly close to the bay so this somewhat limits my ability to shoot out for a quick session but I don't mind making the trip down to the East coast of PPB and like to fish from Mt Eliza down to Portsea. I am land based for the time being but a Yak or small boat is factored into my plans in the future.
So Hi. I look forward to contributing mt reports and learning as much as I can from you lot.
