Went out for an afternoon session with Inkky.

Perfect afternoon and we brought home 15 Calamari, including 2 aircraft carriers.

Nice work there Ojingo & inky , should be a nice feed . Was that a 30cm + hood
Ojingo,

Why don't you post the picture you took on your brag mat or was that a ruler?

Killsquid which area do you normally squid and how many do you catch on average?
inkyy i normaly fish or squid botany ,around yarra bay or further along . Ive only started this summer because i wanted the freshest king bait i could get , best ive got was 4 , nothing as big as the couple Ojingo caught . How bout you ?
Nice catch.

I'm sick of catching southerns though, I can't wait until I move to Swansea so I can enjoy arrow heads.

Yes they were.

Those were caught with Inkky.

I think they're a bit too good for Kingies <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

There's always Yowie Bay Wharf for Arrows if you want fresh bait though.

Edit: 1 of the weapons used http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7557108/untitled%20folder/24032012534.jpg

LoL my dad taught me how to squid originally but now I'm trying to show him what eging is all about. To be honest anything over 4 squid is a lot for land based for me but when I read ton's, it kinda made me wonder. All good though, how are you catching your squid? Eging (Japanese style you see on youtube), cast and retrieve with jerk?

And where are you landing your arrows? I haven't caught them in a while.
I think he is squidding Yarra Bay, where we used to go.
yeah yarra bay i normally get southerns but on my last trip i got 2 arrows and 3 southerns
From the shore or boat in Yarra bay? I am having squid for dinner tomorrow night, I just have to catch some tomorrow.

I am going to Clovelly first, bare island after that and Yarra bay is just around the corner for high tide.
inkky i looked at your blog where did you catch the 15 squid if you dont want to tell dont
