Hi Guy's, found this site today while at work and I think it is great. Squidlet, Ive been going to Terrigal most arvos for the last month and been pulling some horse inkers out of the haven. Only problem has been getting a spot with up to a dozen blokes there after the same thing. Been fun though. I live on the coast and are constantly trying to find great spots to squid out of my kayak. Might run into to you at Terrigal one arvo. Noel
I was there a couple of weeks ago and nailed some beauties. One of the best visual takes ever just meters in front of me, a ripper with a 35 cm hood. There were other guys fishing but no other squidders.
Alright I'm hooked and re stocked with jigs gonna head out this arvo at terrigal I'll let you know how the haul goes

Not a bite so far been out all arvo sun is well and truly past the horizon not sure what I'm doin wrong guys I'm fishing towards the boats and using jig techniques any tips ? Does the moon or any other factors influence the results?
check your tides both ends are good but best time to me is change of tides around dusk and dawn. also jigging technique if fast jig doesn't work try slow jig I usually mix it all up but you've got the most important thing, persistent keep going and good luck
