I've been able to attract thousands of squid just after sunset at my spot in RI, but they very rarely bite! I have been attempting to use the following lures:

as well as a sabiki rig. I've caught 1 squid with the prawn, 0 with the luminous jig, and about 13 with a sabiki - but we think we were often just snagging them as they swam past!

I ordered some new lures to try:

- this one is significantly different from anything I've tried (it's so small!)

I am using 15 lb green braided line on light tackle and I am attracting them using a Reel Lite underwater LED. The squid show up and circle around my kayak but they just seem completely disinterested in what I'm offering. If it helps, it seems like they are feeding on very small fish that are also attracted to the light, which is why I am optimistic about the "tiny teaser" lure. Is there anything else I should try? I could use some advice on how to work these lures, what depth, etc. The squid are generally circling 2 or 3 feet beneath the surface.

Thanks!
