Hi was wondering if anyone had any good spots to jig from on the cape. I am not from the area only place i know of is province-town and that a very long journey for me. Any help will be great thanks
Woods hole on the town pier next to the institute, WHOI
is there any boat ramps in the area and are they here yet? hoping
yes righ next to WHOI there is a ramp, I am not sure if you need a permit to launch.

Let me know if you need a fishing buddy on your boat, I'll pitch in for fuel, ice and beer. I also have a cast-net and we can clean house if we find a pod.
sounds good to me we can figure things out when the squid final get here
Last tiI have not launched there in two years but the last time I did there was no permit requiredI I hnkjbwqepbhj[rwkjbfcfiiiil;'[k'ml
I have not launched there in two years but the last time I did there was no permit required. The only pain is you have to drive down the street and pull up onto the grass to park and there is only room for about 8 rigs as I recall. If you boys want to do some squiding from a boat I did 3 day trips on a friends boat out of Falmouth last spring and we got 40-60 each trip. Didn't exactly kill em but it was easy fishing with a short ride and during the day. Let me know.
Launch from the town dock in hyannis and find the small boat squid fleet out in the sound. The squid come in to spawn usually end of april beginning of may and can be found around collier's ledge. Usually a hot and heavy area for about a week. If the fleet is not out there then the bite probably isn't either.
thanks doggie

you got all that from a pic that doesn't show any surrounding except in a boat? not trying to start anything just wondering
from the imaged, look like in a boat and also during daylight time frame. Information that the boat dragger are out there in Hyannis.

And that where I'm heading.
