Full Version: spot lights at night time ?

As the title says ,

is it better to have a handheld or headlamp , ive got a really powerful LED one and use it shine into the water at the lure area when squidding at night time ? i read somewhere someone reckoned that it helped ?

i find that the light attracts the squid closer, the stronger the light the better, does not work well when itâs a full moon

I would use the LED
