Hi All,

 

Just wondering what people use for scents if any for their jigs. Do they work or is it a bit like snake oil? Also, would a drop or two of tuna oil or fish oil work?

I give my jigs a good splash of Ultrabite ( Saltwater version ).

 

Does it make any difference ?

I truely don't know but I'm of the opinion it makes the jig taste like food so they really grab onto it.

I'll take any advantage ( real or imaginary ) I can get when chasing squid.

 

You could try tuna oil but it will probably stain the cloth of the jig.

The squid probably won't care if it's stained.

Completely unnecessary in my opinion.
