Hi All,

 

New here and looking at getting into squid fishing, I was wondering what sort of rod I'll need for casting squid jigs 2.0-3.0 ?. Should the action rod be slow action rod so it has quiet a bend on it soo I can get a good cast distance for the squid jig ?.

slow taper id say something with a very parabolic action , so it nice and soft to take the squids pulses
