hey dude,

i just got home.

went to "spot black" same spot that i bagged out last night at, got 3 good size ones. 2 on pink harimitsu glow #3.0 and another on megabass #2.9.

i fished for just over 2 hours..

i have found full moon to be better, use glow jigs, if your still there go to the rocks, as you walk up the pier, just about where the fence for the boat yard ends you will see under the hand rail on the left abit of that checka plate has lifted up, fish from there. wait until sunrise its only an hour and abit away.

when light appears put natural looking jig on, i use yamashita ajk or iba but ones that are silver work well aswell.

Hi new to the site and was put onto it by G Factor.

Fished for an hour and a half into the wind at Brighton last night for donuts

got a windknot in my braid first cast and had a loop i couldnt get out. The loop was a fair way in and was getting caught in the guides on the cast limiting my distance. Not happy. Hate the wind. Saw a few caught there though both off the pier itself and the breakwall. Not my night.

Cheers George
does not sound fun.......

i think the squid will go off for a few days with the storm that is hanging around.
Fishing was crap today. was there at 5pm winds were quite frosty and the colour of the water is abit murky.

where did you fish?

brighton? i have noticed that brighton rocks has much better water than the pier
Just came back from brighton today once again it was really ######. I was thinking on going to the rocks but looked slippery. i only saw 2 been caught today after dark. Once again really quiet, water was better today much clearer.
what time are you fishing?

try to be there around 5pm, i have had most luck around them from the rocks, once you get down to the waters edge on a nice rock you will be fine, there are a few rocks that are very easy to walk on when it is wet.
I was there from 3:30pm till 7:00pm it was strange that nothing was around to take the jigs. Yeh around 5 pm usually they come around but not many yesterday. I might head down there tonight anyone wanna join.? i will be wearing a brown beanie and black jacket. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':boat:' />

ahahahah nah water was abit shitty around lunch time, the wind has not been to strong so the north would not have pushed clean water in.

i wont be fishing tonight george, i will be tomorow.

have a look at the weather, maybe late tonight will be good, high tide isnt till late to mite be good to fish around 1 hour befor high tide.

I wont be fishing for a few days at least as im a bit crook but i have probably seen you down there. Will give it a try when well

Cheers
george did you fish last friday at hampton rocks?
how did you guys go last night?
went to "spot black" fished 5pm till 6:30ish

got 3.
Fished Brighton sat night and that probably added to me getting crook. Have fished with G factor a few times in the last few weeks and got some squid gars etc on rocks on friday. Feeling heaps better now but on nightshift on sunday i think so will be fishing from 7 am a bit next week. Will probably give my spot "black" a shot which is possibly the same as your a spot black. Will let you know how i go. Possibly fish brighton/beaui at least once after 7 in the morning next week too. Let me know what you are up to next week. May run into each other in our travels

Cheers

George
anyone heading out this arvo ??? mase ???

i will be there 5pm-8pm... best time as you suggested mase.

i might also give the rocks a crack since you suggested that its pretty effective there. can you hint to me where abouts on the rocks because its very long stretched. can you just point to me where abouts??? start, mid, end ? you dont have to be specific, its ok. oh and also, just to make it clear, its on the rocks/seabath side not the boats side right?

thanksss
