I went to fremantle this morning around 6:00am,tried many spot but didn't get anything in first two hours. But before I went home,I saw a big cuttlefish hide behind some rocks. And I put my jig down and waited for about 10 minutes, finally it came out and grab my jig.LOL,it's the biggest one I 've ever seen, just amazing. That's the only one I got today but what a one!I dinn't weigh it because I share it with my friends but I think it'a around 3.5 kg.
cheers,
Ray

must be pretty hard to reel it in, they fight a lot harder than calamaris (but calamari dont usually grow to that size) <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

butt-ugly but taste good if prepared right <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ink' /> they are really messy and take so long to clean, would prefer calamari over cuttle anyday <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

I don't even need to reel it in,bacause it was right at my feet! That's why I can put my jig down and waited for about 10 minutes. That's a good spot,I got 3 big octopus(around 3kg each) there, they are all at my feet as well. But octopus are much harder to catch, because they stick to rocks.
thats only a head a mother could love
r u 1 2 mug
AFew yes ago we got one deep sea fishing that was at least 25/30Kg, the skipper did not want it aboard the boat but a Korean Guy insisted on keeping it (we didin't know it was worth $30/Kg!)
Boy did it make a mess of his boat !
