Hi everyone (come stai? - how are you?),

I came across the following italian webpage and it seems to contain an interesting jig design. From my altavista translated version it seems to be saying the centre part of the jig slides up and down and this is somehow a good thing for hooking the squid.

Can anyone help me to understand what is being said here?

Thanks very much,

T1 : Mini totanara a luce led .

T3 : Totanara elettronica a luce led . Versione piccola .

T4 : Totanara elettronica a luce led . Versione grande .

T5 : Totanara fusto mobile elettronica a luce led . [/color]
hey glen

i'm italian and from what i understand when the squid takes the jig a mobile peice falls and allows for the pins to go in deeper. i know very basic italian i'll get my dad to have a look at it tomorrow also it mentions something about a led that emits a temporary flash

cheers hope this helped you

pat.
thanks pat.

that confirms what i suspected. this seems like a pretty unique jig design. I certainly have never heard of this before.

hey i like the idea of that.... from what i gather, as the squid is hooked it pulls back and the sliding piece pulls toward the hooks, jagginf the squid onto the hooks even more.... hey just purchased a 10 pk of glow in the dark jigs green ones... just the plastic jig style. cant wait for them to get here, going squiding tomorrow.....will report tomorrow night......
