I hear that the squiding is good right at the fish peir in chatham. Any truth to that? Anyone try woodshole yet? I was thinking next week it should start off.
No- Stage Harbor.....
Thanks for the clarification...are there good lights at stage? I talked with a realible source lastnight and said there was a few squid at woods hole they thought that more lights at the end of the dock would bring them in...we will see.
Anyone make it out lastnight? If the rain stops by tonight I might try it...What is the "magic" water temp for the little guys?
Took a look at the dock around 10 pm lastnight, didn't stay long...no squid. Anyone else try it yet?
Haven't been to Wh to fish squid. The majic # was pegged at between 48 and 52 on the newport thread. Temp in WH is 50.0 currently. You can "watch it" at http://tidesonline.nos.noaa.gov/plotcomp.s...on_info=8447930.

That said. The temp in NPt has been between 48 and 52 for most of a week now and, if news from the thread is correct, the run is only getting started.

Where do you fish WH? and Can I set up my generator there without getting shut down or arrested? I come from Wareham so WH is a shorter trip than NPT.
