is this the reason why I dont see any in botany bay or even heard of any being caught.What about the kurnell area,any around there as there is clear water there.

I think you were the same person who answered my email.
I saw loads of them today and water was really clear in the corner of the bay.

Squid prefer clear, clean water, rather than murky water i have found. Here in SA, when the water is murky, its time to head out to deeper water, therefore the jetties arent a great place to be.....
