For all the Victorians out there, I found this interesting website that has sea surface temperatures for the open ocean and also for various sections of port phillip bay.

There is also other information such as wind direction etc.



It is interesting to see that the bay (which is a large shallow expanse) is much colder than the surrounding ocean.

Hi Glen, I've been using that first (Melb. Uni) site for quite a while now, the wind info is gold, especially good for planning floundering trips!
