Hey Rob was that you at Portsea? I was there for a bit but didn't stay long as the sea lice got the better of me. Went to Blairgowrie instead, got 1 and dropped another. Probaly about 30 or so cm in length.
hey mate, no we didnt fish portsea just checked the lights, we fished sorrento tuesday night instead, wasnt bad, wasnt good. got a couple of ssmall ones.
I went down to Blairgowrie for the first time in months. I caught 6 not bad size squids near the end of the pier. My uncle caught a bag limit so i guess the time for squid is now.
Were you guys using jigs or a bait set up? If jig, mind saying what colour?

Floatie i used the 2.5 pink jigs the ones . Not baited. Also floatie best place to catch them is near the end of the pier on the rail side.
sweet, now I need to get some time off work and head down there
