I JUST STARTED SQUIDDING BUT HAVE BEEN FISHING FOR AWHILE NOW. MY LAST TRIP I COUGHT THE MOST GIANT SQUID 12 40#ERS. I go fishing with my mum once a week and I could have her pole, her jig, her spot and she will move anywhere else and still catch them, she will catch 9 before I catch my first one. Not bad for a 75 yr old nonna.

So the Quarry is 55meters deep, and noticed you were casting out deep into the quarry. How far did you let it sink or the tried to keep it near the surface? Cheers.
