Hi Kylaid
Conditions vary and depends on where you are fishing
While calm and clear conditions are favourable I have caught some good bags in rough conditions and have found over the years that squid go crazy during a storm. Before the days of bag limits it wasnt uncommon for My father and I to bag out on 60 plus squid in water that was the colour of coffee absolutely filthy.
Wind strength, direction and tide also play a huge part in successful squidding
Where abouts do you fish from??
Hi i'm new here and new to squid fishing last few days i was also thinking of the same qns too i did caught a few squid but i'm not sure wats the right tide and conditions are best for it
