I just read this squid report in the Cranbourne Tackle fishing report. Anyone have any idea where Woolies Reef is?

Quote:MORNINGTON

Staff members Dan and Vicky fished the area during the week to bag out on good size squid while using Hayabusa jigs. They also landed good size snook while trolling in 5 meters of water on Shimano minnow lures.

Staff member Jarrod Day also cleaned up on the squid this week at Woolies Reef.

This answer from Fishnet member TedR Thanks Ted

Woolies Reef is located just off shore from Davies bay Mt Eliza. Sort of Davies bay side of Olivers Hill, Frankston.

The stick that marks Woolies Reef is clearly visable from the Olivers hill lookout, and in fact, very visable at sea level from Franston pier.

not visable at night, as it has no light.
