hi everyone,

apologies for the website downtime for the last day. unfortunately the server hardware failed and had to be replaced.

it appears that we lost all forum posts from 1 January to 6 January.

also, we will have lost the membership details for any new members that signed up during that time period (from 2nd Jan to 6 Jan)

i will try to find out if these can be restored. but i suspect it won't be possible.

sorry for any inconvenience,

best regards, glen
Oh i see <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

i was just wondering how come we lost like 15 members over the weekend <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/innocent.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' /> maybe its worth a while to pin this thread and hopefully the new members will not be totally frustrated when they visit again <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/zorro.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />
good idea! i will do that. i am pretty annoyed about the whole thing. i was under the understanding that daily backups were being made. i will be doing my own backups more regularly from now on just in case.

anyway, if anyone does remember what they posted in the forum please post it again! and if you signed up as a member please rejoin! we really do want you to be a member of the forum!

cheers, glen
