Any one hear of any squid's activity down in the areas ?

Broke my lower unit have'nt has any time to put the new one on.

Hopefully I'll be out next weekend and let you guys know how it goes.
nothing yet although there seems to be a lot of squid activity in south western long island sound so

they should be here soon.  Water temps need to rise more up this way.

Was on cape this weekend, didnt notice any action yet, still cold
None seen yet in Edgartown or Menemsha, usually about two more weeks there.

I will go down this Sunday let you guys know what up
I planned to go out this Saturday but the weather forecast 2-4 feet chop, I guess I'll wait. Smile
Hi guys

I am back

Here's the scope: got down to Hyannis around 6:00 am

Fish till 9:00 am big NADA.

A couple of Charter boats, and a couple of private boats were there.

No one seem to catch anything.

I was surprised, barely any boat out here.

What had happen to all the people that are supposed to come down from the forum?

Any way water temp is too cold.

May be next weekend.

No INK is word of the day.
Thanks for the update,

I also went out of Hyannis from 10 to 1 and nothing bites, even try for scup but nothing bites. Only couple of boat but nobody get any luck.

My fish finder show water temp is 50.9 but I'm not sure it's correct.

Thanks Kenza

It's nice to know some one else went.
One boat had two yesterday( Sat).

We had late start last year like this year due to colder water temp and they best dates last year were May 9 - 11.

Hi all, I'm still new to this squid fishing on the boat and I'm hoping that the veteran can show me the general area in the Nantucket Sound. I can bring my boat and tag along if you don't mind, I really appreciated.
woops sorry.  misread....

Time is essence. I don't know why it takes so long to get approval.
I just want to give info for guys who wait for the squid report.
They got 20 - 30 squid per person. Some got half bucket of squid out of Haynnis today.
Ksong, did you see they jig up or you heard from a friend?

Thanks.

Really ?

Too bad they're in on a weekday.

Hope they will hang around until the weekend

Thanks KSONG for the report.
This weekend should be the prime time. I am near Hyannis now and make an scouting trip. We plan to leave dock around 10:00 am as it is still breezy.
If this is the ksong of jig-n-pop fame, nobody should doubt his report.  Kil is a legend not just in the squid community, but jigging everything from fluke to giant bft.  He has a website (http://www.jignpop.com) where he sells the custom jigging gear he develops.

He is also very humble.  Wink

Welcome kil (if you are the same guy - he has this username practically trademarked).
