Hi everyone, I just got the following email about a Cuttlefish documentary. It was a huge coincidence because this documentary was shown on ABC in Australia this evening. It's a very good documentary! I particularly liked the part about the flamboyant cuttlefish that walks around on the sea floor! That was amazing.

Cheers, Glen

Quote:Join NOVA on a voyage beneath the waves, where you'll discover a creature like no other. It's an animal with eight sucker-covered arms growing out of its head, three hearts pumping its blue-green blood, and a doughnut-shaped brain. It has the ability to change its color and shape to blend in with seaweed and rocks, and it has a knack for switching on electrifying light shows that dazzle its prey. Perhaps most surprising of all, this animal is quite intelligent, with a highly complex brain.

Meet the cuttlefish. With extraordinary underwater photography, NOVA's "Kings of Camouflage" captures this master of disguise as it evades predators, hypnotizes prey, and intimidates mating rivals.

"Kings of Camouflage" will premiere Tuesday, April 3 at 8:00 p.m. on most PBS stations. Check your local listings to confirm when it will be broadcast near you:
