hello everyone
i'm from wales originally and have been living in sydney since march but am still to notch a squid on the rod butt.
there isn't really that much of an abundance of squid around the uk waters and i never really spent longer than 32 mins using a squid jig but i've decided to make it my mission to catch at least one squid before 2008 is out.
any suggestions on lures and where to buy them and where and when to use them would be greatly appreciated! i picked up some from big w but i see the Daiwa and Yo Zuri brands mentioned a lot. where is a good place to get these in the sydney area or is online my best bet?
i saw an asian gentleman catch a squid near the mission impossible island at la perouse a few months back so was going to give that place a try this evening. i'll let you know how i go....<img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' />
tight lines!
