Just went out
NADA, noone caught anything
on a side note: I had glowsticks that I put on my rig, would have worked liked a charm if there were squid

no ink, but a ton of bait fish, even today they were litterally everywhere
but today one guy pointed out that unlike previous days, the bait fish were popping to the surface and making ripples, it probably meant that the squid were on the move

I have 2 reliable reports that a few squid were seen moving through a bait cloud under a lantern on Saturday night. This would have been soem time after 10pm. They were not biting however. I have not seen a squid caught yet this year, but it sounds like they are definitely starting to move in. We just need the water temps to come up a bit more to get them active.

We tried Saturday night from like 8 till midnight with the boat. TONS of bait in the water and I did see ONE lonely squid in my lights, but no bites. Also some baby fluke about 1 inch long in the lights. Hope the start hitting soon...

A couple areas under GI bridge have a sandy bottom. I've seen Fluke caught there before. Although the odds of a "keeper" are slim.

Are you the gentleman that was fishing where the boats pass under? I really enjoyed catching a squidders line on my VHF antenna! Luckily I was able to get the line off and get his jigs back to him.
