Hi Guys, i normaly catch them during summer time but they are not really big one....just little tiny one.

Do you reckon on summer time they are more active or winter time?

thanks for hellping ~ ~
hey fisho

up here in moreton bay we get the smaller bay squid thru the summer months and now that autum is uppon us the big tigers are being caught around the bay Islands and will soon make their way over this side of the bay with the clearer waters in the cooler months.

WOO..... THANKS A LOT FOR THE ANSWER. BUT I HEARD PEOPLE CATCH TIGER SQUID DURING THIS MONTH.. MAY BE THE WATER IS START COOLING DOWN. THANKS A LOT FOR THE IMFORMATION ~~
Depends on the type of squid I think. The Japanese calamari don't like it below 13 degrees and spawn around 16 degrees. But arrow Squid can be caught in much colder water.
fisho

they are catching tigers now in the bay but only in the clear waters around straddie and moreton Islands.

I wont be looking for another month yet on this side of the bay but may venture over in the boat if the time comes around to do it.
