I wonder what species it is? Far too big to be a Southern Calamari or Arrow Squid IMO

Certainly none of the above. Looks like the Barrel Squid we get in Japan.

That is massive and looks like a southern calamari.

If is a calamari it would have to be some sought of record for its size

Thats some massive squid id love to have a go at that lol it wouldbe awsome fun thanx 4 posting [indent]
