Hey All,
Has anyone else been watching the water temps from the NOAA station at Newport?

A few days ago the water was climbing pretty steadily and I thought the temp would be holding around 50°F by this weekend but the latest set of data has it actually dropping since the middle of the week. I know from this forum that best temps to look for are in the low 50's so I was trying to plan my first trip around that. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fishing.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Anyone know if the temp needs to stay in that range vs just hit it for a few hours? I'm going soon no matter what but I'm curious now.
