Just looking looking for some idea's on shallow water fishing techniques, recently been trying a spot with a water depth between 20-40 cm with good numbers of squid being sighted but having trouble getting the jig even with weight reduction to sit in the strike zone long enough

rebalance your jig with a small bit of solder wire wrapped around the shaft above the first ring of spikes and shave the lead weight off untill you jig is allmost neutral boyancy.
