I was wondering if anybody knew whether squid can see ultraviolet light?



Obviously they are visible-light sensitive (note all the glow-in-the-dark squid jigs), but has anybody ever tried using UV reflective lures?

Dunno. I've got a pot of UV reactive paint though. Blurb says people can't see it but fish can. Will give it a go this weekend. Just hope its sunny...
