When ever i go squidding the weather is always quite good, i was wandaring if the weather is bad and very windy does it effect the squids hunting pattern. Does it turn them off or what??????
Cheers Squiby
no, providing the water quality is still good
it just makes it harder to fish
it depends on where the wind is coming from....east = least , west = best.
I catch more squid if the wind is from the west in some direction as it clears the water and keeps it smooth making for great sight fishing.

hey squiby
you might want to reverse that theory being in the west.
so that means.....east = feast......west = sux....couldn't think of anything to rhyme with west..hahahahaha
I do some blind fishing at the start of the year when the water is a bit dirty and really clean up too as they cant see what just happened to their mates a couple of metres away..... they have bloody good eye sight the buggers.
