Glenn, I was thnking the same thing. Hey Suzy and John! I might just have to brave the cold front and come on down.

Glenn - on another note - when I click on the email link to the thread it brings me to page one of the Newport 2010 thread, it used to bring me to the post that the email was refering to; is it me or is it something you can fix?

Thanks.

Suzy and I went out 11/6/10. Several people there but not too many squid. We were skunked for 2 hours. I noticed every year the jigs keep getting smaller. There was a guy sitting on a ladder on the bridge. I have seen him twice this fall. he had 6 or 7 squid in his bucket. Several hours of work. We will try this week end and then probably call it quits until the spring.
keep on keeping on.

Not bad what size jig did you use. did you fish from the bridge. I am going to try my luck again this week end.

You should hide that bass a little better. Unless, those are giant squid....<img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />
I don't take short bass. Has no stripes.. but make great bait..

may I ask what am I selling?
i guess they look similar... but really.. a 6 inch striper? give me some credit.
If anything that looks like the small blues I saw people snagging a few months ago off park dock...

They claimed they were good eating...Since I am no Marine Biologist ...I have no business doubting anyone...

Glad you had a good nite out fishing.

I had a few good days off Jamestown diving for our elusive quahogs..will set aside more time for squidding next year..cheers

thank you for enlarging your original photo. there are no pectoral fins on the fish in your squid bucket. so it's not a striper. i was wrong, im sorry.

It's been working ever since I "complained"; TT just whine a little and it will work for you too!

"Fished" buzz bay yesterday, found nothing. If it wren't for 2 starfish caught jigging i would have been skunked. Took all my rods off the boat when I got home; I'm afraid it's winter.
